Sandi Hager

Sandi Hager is an ecl catalyst who specialises in Implementation Strategy and Project Management. Her passion lies in assisting organisations in reaching their goals through the development of frameworks and structures.  She is currently working with ecl South Africa in the development of the foundation in the South African market.

Sandi has a Qualification in Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Project Management from the Centre for Public Administration and Management at UNISA. She has over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the book trade and over ten years’ experience in managing large muti-faceted projects in the Socio-Development  and Emerging markets in financial sector.

Sandi is the Founder and driver of Initiate, a company which consults to corporate companies on Implementation Planning and Execution and provides Training and Consulting too small to Medium Sized Business’s on the implementation of their business strategies.

She is passionate about working with teams helping them to achieve results by developing a clear roadmap of activities that will help them reach a successful end. She has demonstrated success in leading diverse teams in breaking down complex projects into manageable pieces of work. She works with teams to clearly understand key objectives and identify the steps needed to achieve a successful outcome.

Sandi has over ten years’ experience working on a variety of large projects such as rolling out an alternative channel for retail banking across Africa, training and distribution of HIV toolkits for healthcare workers and developing an implementation plan for an Employee Volunteerism Initiative.

Standard Bank, Liberty Life, Eduloan, BroadReachHealthcare (PEPFAR/USAID), Avocado Vison, Ngikwazi Field Marketing and Branson Entrepreneur Centre are amongst some of the organisations she has done implementation consulting and project management for. Her experience in the book trade includes some of South Africa’s leading publishing houses; Oxford University Press, Penguin, HarperCollins, Struik Publishers, BBC and National Geographic.
